The AI Assistant is part of Pro. It runs on Apple Intelligence, built right into your iPhone, with no extra account needed, or on an AI account you connect yourself. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and others all work. If you bring your own, that provider bills you directly, typically just a few dollars a month for regular use, with no markup, and it isn’t included in the Pro price.
